Wat jij tijdens je stage maakt wordt straks écht gebruikt op onze bouwplaatsen

Hoe ziet een goed ingerichte bouwplaats eruit? Waar hoort de bewegwijzering? Welke uitstraling geven we bouwhekdoeken? Hoe maken we duidelijk wat de standaard is voor veiligheid, afval, parkeren of bezoekers? En vooral: hoe zorg je dat een uitvoerder niet eindeloos hoeft te zoeken, maar in één oogopslag weet wat nodig is en welk materieel daarbij hoort?

Dat willen we bij Dura Vermeer vastleggen in één Bouwplaatsprotocol: een praktische handleiding én visuele standaard voor de bouwplaats. Het laat zien hoe we onze bouwplaatsen herkenbaar, netjes, veilig en slim inrichten. En dat protocol ga jij helpen maken.

Dit maakt deze stage interessant:

Je zit tijdens deze stage precies tussen communicatie, ontwerp en de praktijk van de bouw in. De ene dag praat je met een uitvoerder over wat er wel en niet werkt. De volgende dag orden je alle informatie die al binnen Dura Vermeer beschikbaar is. Daarna schrijf je een richtlijn zo dat iemand hem in een paar seconden begrijpt en zet je die in Adobe InDesign om in een pagina die ook visueel klopt.

Je hoeft dus niet te kiezen tussen schrijven of ontwerpen. Je doet allebei.

Dit ga je doen:

  • bestaande richtlijnen en informatie binnen Dura Vermeer verzamelen en structureren;
  • bekijken hoe bouwplaatsen nu worden ingericht en waar collega's in de praktijk tegenaan lopen;
  • praten met uitvoerders en collega’s binnen Dura Vermeer Materieel;
  • bepalen welke onderwerpen, standaarden en middelen in het Dura Vermeer-protocol thuishoren;
  • foto's, illustraties, iconen, tabellen en andere visuele middelen maken en inzetten om informatie snel duidelijk te maken;
  • waar nodig nieuwe communicatiemiddelen of formats ontwikkelen;
  • het complete protocol vormgeven in de huisstijl van Dura Vermeer;
  • kritisch testen of iemand op de bouwplaats er ook daadwerkelijk snel mee kan werken en het protocol op basis van deze feedback verbeteren.

Je krijgt veel vrijheid om na te denken over vragen als: hoe maken we een document van deze omvang prettig om te gebruiken? Wat moet je laten zien in plaats van uitleggen? Welke informatie hoort bij elkaar? Welke dingen helpen een uitvoerder echt verder?

Wat breng jij mee

Voor deze opdracht zoeken we niet alleen iemand die mooi kan vormgeven. En ook niet alleen iemand die goed kan schrijven. Juist de combinatie is belangrijk.

Jij:

  • vindt het leuk om veel informatie terug te brengen tot een logische structuur. Je kunt een technisch verhaal begrijpelijk opschrijven en hebt tegelijkertijd oog voor typografie, beeld, hiërarchie en vormgeving;
  • volgt een hbo-opleiding zoals Communicatie, Creative Business, Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD), Media & Design, Crossmedia Design, Marketingcommunicatie, Visual Communication/Graphic Design of een vergelijkbare opleiding;
  • schrijft helder en foutloos Nederlands;
  • kunt werken met Adobe Creative Suite;
  • kunt zelfstandig informatie ophalen, ordenen en keuzes onderbouwen;
  • vindt het leuk om collega's uit verschillende vakgebieden te spreken en hun kennis te vertalen naar een bruikbaar eindproduct.
