Experienced Structural Engineer | Project Manager

LOCATION: ARLINGTON, DRAPER, MERIDIAN, MESA, AND OREM OFFICES

THE POSITION: Full-time Structural Engineer – Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a motivated, self-driven, individual to help grow our structural engineering department.

We are seeking structural engineers who have experience in timber, steel, CMU, and concrete design. Experience with both commercial and residential design is desired.

Our Client offers structural design services in all 50 states and parts of Canada. Engineers at Vector have the opportunity to learn different engineer disciplines and develop expertise in a wide range of industries, geographic areas and types of construction. We are seeking individuals who will add to the great team we have and who enjoy solving problems and working with urgency and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Train and develop younger engineers
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Perform calculations and red-line drawings
  • Complete other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-4 years engineering experience
  • Proficient in Risa 3d design suite, AutoCAD and Excel desired
  • Experience in Revit preferred
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Ability to work legally in the United States

3-4 years of experience in structural design of timber, steel or concrete structures required. One or more state licenses as professional (PE) or structural engineer (SE) is highly desired. Experience working with clients desired.

Experience with structural engineering software (RISA 3D, RetainPro, TNX tower, or Enercalc, etc.) required.
