The posting

Job Description:

DXC Technology is a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner delivering software, services, and solutions to global enterprises and public sector organizations — helping them harness AI to drive outcomes at a time of exponential change with speed. With deep expertise in Managed Infrastructure Services, Application Modernization, and Industry-Specific Software Solutions, DXC modernizes, secures, and operates some of the world's most complex technology estates.

DXC's Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) helps insurers around the world modernize and run their core operations at scale by combining deep industry expertise, proven software platforms, and innovative AI-driven solutions. A global market leader in core insurance platforms, ISB delivers solutions across policy administration, claims, billing, analytics, and digital engagement supporting Life & Annuity, Property & Casualty, and Specialty insurance markets. You’ll directly shape how the world's leading insurers operate by helping to transform the policy, underwriting, and claims systems that millions of people rely on every day.

About The Role

The scope, complexity, and strategic importance of the DXC Customer Community and event portfolio have evolved significantly over the past several years. The responsibilities associated with this role now extend beyond traditional event planning and logistics execution to include strategic program management, executive stakeholder engagement, customer experience design, budget accountability, cross-functional leadership, and business outcome measurement.

As the organization continues to invest in customer engagement through executive forums, Customer Advisory Councils, customer communities, industry events, and flagship programs such as DXC Connect, the role requires a higher level of autonomy, decision-making authority, and strategic influence than was required when the position was originally classified.

What You´ll Do

Scope Expansion

The role is responsible for:

  • Managing complex, multi-event programs across multiple geographies and customer segments.
  • Coordinating executive-level engagement with customers, partners, sponsors, and DXC leadership.
  • Driving cross-functional alignment across marketing, sales, industry teams, customer success, operations, and external vendors.
  • Leading event planning timelines, governance processes, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Supporting revenue, customer retention, advocacy, and community-building objectives through event and engagement programs.
  • Managing increasingly sophisticated event technologies, data insights, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Measuring business impact and providing post-event reporting tied to organizational goals.

Strategic Impact

This role directly contributes to:

  • Strengthening customer relationships and executive engagement.
  • Increasing customer retention and advocacy opportunities.
  • Supporting pipeline development and growth initiatives through customer-facing programs.
  • Enhancing DXC's brand reputation and market presence.
  • Delivering high-visibility experiences attended by senior customer executives and DXC leadership.

Because these programs are highly visible and closely aligned with DXC's customer engagement strategy, the role requires an individual capable of operating at a more strategic level than a traditional event coordinator or planner role.

Market and Talent Considerations

To attract and retain candidates with the experience required to manage enterprise-scale customer engagement programs, executive forums, advisory councils, and global event initiatives, the position should be aligned to a higher job level that reflects current market expectations and the complexity of the work.

Maintaining the historical level may limit the ability to recruit qualified candidates with the strategic planning, stakeholder management, and program leadership capabilities necessary for success.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience leading customer communities, event planning, advisory councils, customer events, customer success or stakeholder engagement programs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in US without requiring sponsorship now nor in the future.
  • Experience as Customer Community lead for small teams
  • Community strategy, customer event delivery, Executive interface, advanced analytics and disciplined end-to-end project management to translate customer insights into actionable outcomes that influence product direction, go-to-market strategy and customer advocacy.
  • B2B SaaS Customer Advisory and translates customers objectives to internal organization, Hands on driven Individual Contributor
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, data analysis and performance reporting
  • Experience building dashboards and analytics using tools such as Power Bi and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and events at scale with a high attention to detail and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated experience developing executive presentations, including advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex insights for executive audiences.

Work Environment

  • Hiring in Charleston, SC at DXC Site weekdays
  • Candidates residing more than 25 miles from a DXC office will follow a hybrid work model.

At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success. Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
