The posting

Dynamic Creatures | Cambridge, MA

Dynamic Creatures is hiring a hands-on security engineer to help protect our software and connected products. You’ll shape how our robots connect securely to networks, the internet, and the services around them.

We’re looking for someone who has personally secured an IoT product and its SDKs. Your background could be in connected cameras, smart-home devices, consumer electronics, industrial IoT, or robotics.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Own product security across embedded software, SDKs, APIs, and device-to-cloud communications.

- Design and implement secure authentication, authorization, encryption, and credential management.

- Review software and system architecture, identify vulnerabilities, and work with engineers to resolve them.

- Secure device provisioning, software updates, and third-party dependencies.

- Build practical security checks into development and release processes.

- Help investigate and respond to product security issues.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- Experience securing internet-connected physical products through development, launch, and operation.

- Direct experience securing SDKs, including how developers authenticate, manage credentials, and access product capabilities.

- Strong knowledge of networking, internet protocols, and secure communications.

- Experience with embedded or firmware security and the cloud services supporting connected devices.

- The ability to review code, implement protections, and explain security decisions clearly.

- A practical approach to balancing security, reliability, and product usability.

Robotics experience is welcome, but it isn’t required. We’re most interested in what you’ve personally built, secured, tested, and improved.

This role is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
