Job Description

  • Assist in preparing resources for lessons, enrichment activities, competitions, and exhibitions.
  • Set up and clear Science laboratories and Makerspace before and after activities.
  • Organise and maintain teaching materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform simple cleaning, drying, and stocktaking of learning resources.
  • Assist in purchasing teaching and learning materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of two Science rooms and one Makerspace room.
  • Perform other teaching and learning duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to handle primary Science laboratory apparatus properly.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Able to communicate with teachers via WhatsApp.
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in Science laboratories or primary school environments.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in Science education activities and workshops.
  • Able to use Google Sheets to check laboratory schedules.
  • GCE ‘O’ Level Science subjects with at least a C6grade preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
