About the Role As our Legal Manager for China context, you’ll be the go-to legal advisor for our China business, making sure we grow quickly while staying compliant with PRC laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities You’ll draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts in Chinese and English, including customer, supplier, distribution, licensing, and service agreements. You’ll advise the business on PRC legal and regulatory matters, including company law, contract law, labor law, and industry-specific regulations. You’ll lead data privacy and cybersecurity compliance under the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), Data Security Law, and Cybersecurity Law, including cross-border data transfer requirements. You’ll support corporate governance and entity management for our China subsidiaries, including board resolutions, filings with SAMR, and changes to registered capital or business scope. You’ll handle employment matters such as employment contracts, employee handbooks, terminations, and labor dispute prevention. You’ll manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration in coordination with outside counsel, and oversee their work and budget. You’ll develop and deliver compliance training on topics such as anti-bribery, competition law, and export controls. Finally, you’ll monitor changes in Chinese law and translate them into practical guidance for the business and global headquarters.
