We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Advanced Software team! You’ll be developing custom software solutions that tackle complex industrial and enterprise challenges. Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including full-stack applications, cloud solutions, data integration, Industrial IoT (IIoT), digital twins, and the latest technologies like AI.

This role is perfect for an experienced software engineer who enjoys working across the application stack, contributing to technical architecture, and taking ownership of solutions from concept to deployment. You will be part of small, dedicated teams and have the opportunity to collaborate directly with engineers, project teams, and clients. We can’t wait to see what you bring to our team!

You will:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy client-facing software solutions using modern development practices.
  • Take ownership of features and project workstreams from requirements through implementation.
  • Collaborate with other developers on software architecture, technical decisions, code reviews, and development standards.
  • Develop full-stack applications using C#/.NET, SQL, and modern web technologies.
  • Design and integrate APIs, databases, cloud services, industrial systems, and third-party platforms.
  • Translate business and engineering requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex software and integration issues across multiple systems.
  • Contribute to estimates, technical designs, documentation, and project planning.
  • Learn and apply new technologies as project requirements evolve.
  • Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

You have:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with C# and modern .NET.
  • Experience developing ASP.NET Core APIs and full-stack web applications.
  • Experience with modern frontend development, preferably React and TypeScript.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, including relational database design, querying, indexing, and ORM-based application integration.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating with external systems.
  • Understanding of software engineering practices including:
  • Object-oriented design and SOLID principles
  • Dependency injection
  • Automated/unit testing
  • Source control and Git workflows
  • Code reviews and maintainable software architecture
  • Ability to independently investigate problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

You may have experience with:

  • Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Docker and containerized applications
  • Enterprise authentication, OAuth/OIDC, and SSO
  • Message brokers and event-driven architectures
  • Industrial software, manufacturing systems, or IIoT
  • MQTT, OPC UA, or Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures
  • Data engineering, visualization, or time-series data
  • AI/LLM application development and integration
  • Digital twins, simulation, or 3D visualization
  • Background processing and distributed application architectures
