Overall Purpose

Responsible for defining, owning, and executing the enterprise Risk Automation product strategy and roadmap across EWS, translating risk and control needs into scalable solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, automation, data, and other enabling technologies.

Provides hands-on product and technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, prototyping, implementation, integration, and ongoing enhancement. Partners closely with Technology, Data, Risk, and business teams to translate complex business, risk, and control requirements into effective solutions that align with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, risk management, and control requirements..

Builds alignment across stakeholders on priorities, dependencies, and delivery plans and establishes sustainable internal capabilities to support the continued development and operation of risk automation solutions. Leverages professional services and external expertise selectively where specialized capabilities or incremental delivery capacity are required.

Drives adoption and measurable value from risk automation capabilities by establishing success measures, monitoring outcomes, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and identifying opportunities to expand automation across EWS. Promotes reusable and scalable approaches that improve efficiency, strengthen risk management and controls, and enable consistent execution across the enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree
  • Typically, 12 or more years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated experience defining and executing product strategies and roadmaps for automation, artificial intelligence, data, technology, risk, or similarly complex enterprise capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business, risk, or control requirements into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical depth and experience partnering directly with technology and data teams across solution design, prototyping, implementation, integration, and enhancement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Technology, Data, Risk, and business stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture, information security, data governance, technology governance, and risk and control considerations associated with AI- and automation-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience driving adoption, defining measures of success, evaluating solution value, and using outcomes and stakeholder feedback to inform roadmap priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build sustainable internal capabilities while effectively leveraging external partners or professional services for specialized expertise and delivery capacity.
  • Excellent listening and execution skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Certifications in design thinking and/or agile.
  • Prior experience working in payments, financial services or similar regulated industry.

Physical Requirements

Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment. As such, working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation.

The base pay scale for this position in: Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $173,000 - $202,000. New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $207,000 - $242,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
