Job Description

Do you want to make a difference to the standards of safeguarding in schools and are you an experienced safeguarding lead in a school or college with involvement in managing complex cases? If so, then the role of Safeguarding Consultant could be the job you are looking for.

The Education Safeguarding Team are seeking a new Consultant to support the delivery of safeguarding reviews in schools and the development and delivery of high-quality training, support and guidance for school leaders and DSL teams. This is a full-time role.

This is an excellent career opportunity and will provide you with the chance to support practice in primary, secondary, special schools, post-16 colleges and independent schools, as well as develop and strengthen processes for multiagency working.

An induction and training programme will be provided, but anyone considering this post should be confident in the delivery of training and secure in their understanding and experience of complex safeguarding issues in schools.

Travel across the county will be required, as well as a willingness and availability to travel occasionally to schools elsewhere in the South East of England.

We are looking for candidates who are able to:

  • Challenge current practices in a professional and constructive way.
  • Deliver initiatives for improving the service to schools and pupils.
  • Lead and support staff to achieve a common vision and strategic direction.
  • Work as part of a team and identify opportunities for working colleagues from other services

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
