In this role you will lead the development and enhancement of credit scorecards, analytics, and business requirements across the consumer lending lifecycle, including acquisition, portfolio management, and collections for auto, housing, credit card, and personal loan portfolios, to support effective underwriting and portfolio strategies.

You will monitor scorecard and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model performance, provide data-driven insights on portfolio risk and profitability, and ensure accurate risk assessment through portfolio segmentation, model validation, recalibration, and the integration of historical and forward-looking economic factors.

Your dream. Our focus.

What the role will entail

  • Lead the development, validation, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring of risk scorecards across consumer lending products, ensuring strong predictive capability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define data, analytics, and system requirements, incorporating market, economic, operational, and policy changes into model development and enhancement initiatives.
  • Conduct scorecard and model validation, user acceptance testing, implementation support, and end-user training to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Analyze portfolio and scorecard performance to identify emerging risks, business opportunities, and portfolio quality trends, providing actionable recommendations to business and credit policy teams.
  • Support the development, recalibration, and validation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models by overseeing data preparation, portfolio segmentation, risk parameter analysis, and model performance assessment across all ECL dimensions.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and key stakeholders to assess the impact of macroeconomic trends, management overlays, and other external factors on credit risk, ensuring accurate loss estimation and sound risk management practices.
  • Drive a balanced risk-reward strategy that supports portfolio growth, market share expansion, manageable credit losses, and sustainable profitability.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field.
  • Strong experience in credit risk management, credit lifecycle processes, and lending operations within the banking industry, including at least 3 years in Collections Management and/or Portfolio Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in model usage, monitoring, validation, implementation, and management within the banking, consumer finance, or related industry.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and governance frameworks related to the development, validation, and use of credit risk models.
  • Highly analytical and results-driven professional with strong decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, coupled with a customer-focused and business-oriented mindset.

What you can expect from joining our team

  • Career development and training opportunities
  • Competitive salary package and benefits
  • Performance-based incentives and recognition programs to reward high-performing individuals
  • Opportunity to work with industry experts and be mentored by them
  • Defined career progression paths to guide you in your professional growth

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
