  • Demonstrated experience operating and integrating multiple, distinct program or service lines under one organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial oversight (P&L, budgeting dashboards) across multiple revenue-generating units, including fee-for-service and earned-revenue models.
  • Experience building policies, procedures, and quality systems in a growing or early-stage program environment.
  • Experience leading organizational change and workforce/staffing capacity planning across functional teams.
  • Cultural competency for the Military, Veteran, and First Responder population.
  • Strong business acumen, project management, business writing, grant compliance, funder-reporting, and reporting skills are required.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise, coach, and develop functional/service-line leaders; own workforce and staffing capacity planning across departments, including resolving known dual-role strain as programs scale.
  • Partner with finance staff on budgets, analytical dashboard, and audits, while being an active owner of the campus financial and performance execution across all revenue-generating assets (Challenge Course, retreat center/accommodations, rentals, bookings, training, and work programs).
  • Drive the resolution of operational and compliance barriers required to commercialize campus assets and strengthen financial sustainability.
  • Manage day-to-day compliance, reporting, and administration for awarded grants, coordinate funding pursuits and proposals with the Chief Military & Veterans Services Officer and other applicable partners.
  • Lead the cross-functional execution of strategic plan roadmaps, sequencing dependencies (certifications, funding commitments, programming/development) to optimize efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Build and manage quality improvement systems to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all campus programs.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders of the MVC, agency partners, vendors, contractors, and community members, etc. to support daily operations.
  • Engage with functional & service line leaders (i.e. Recreation, Retreat Center, VSO, etc.) to further develop operational foundations, policy & procedure development, integration services, etc., in alignment with project & strategic planning objectives.
  • Engage in ongoing business planning initiatives to identify areas of strategic growth or change to further operational and financial success.
  • Represent day-to-day operations at Board of Directors and subcommittee meetings as needed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
