Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role will oversee the end-to-end logistics of our e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, returns management, carrier coordination, and inventory control, while also supporting retail warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless collaboration between e-commerce and warehouse teams, maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track e-commerce orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment and resolving any delays or issues.
  • Manage the entire returns process, including receiving, inspecting, restocking, and refund processing, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaise with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) to negotiate rates, resolve delivery issues, and ensure compliance with shipping policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure optimal stock levels for e-commerce, preventing stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Verify and process invoices from carriers and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as order accuracy, delivery times, return rates, and carrier performance.
  • Identify inefficiencies in e-commerce logistics workflows and propose/implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, or improve customer experience.
  • Manage warehouse operations and coordinate B2B customer orders, while providing operational support to retail stores, ensuring timely fulfillment and effective communication across all channels.
  • Monitor retail stock levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing retail inventory, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy accessibility.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (e.g., shortages, overages, or misplaced items) in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Coordinate transfers between warehouse locations or channels (e.g., retail to e-commerce) as needed.
  • Participate in or lead cycle counting initiatives to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to align e-commerce and warehouse operations with broader business goals.
  • Communicate proactively with Customer Service to address logistics-related inquiries or complaints.
  • Support Procurement and Finance teams with data and insights for demand planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years in e-commerce logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data to identify trends or issues in inventory or logistics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive approach to resolving logistics or inventory discrepancies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a hybrid role (office + warehouse).
  • Familiarity with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers.
  • Knowledge of barcode scanning systems and inventory auditing best practices.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain finance (e.g., freight costs, customs, or duty calculations).
  • Strong excel and analytical skills.

Work Environment:

Hybrid Schedule: Flexibility to work up to 2 days on-site at the warehouse located in Jersey City, NJ and 3 days in the office in NYC.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
