You will act as a key compliance partner to the business, utilizing data-driven insights to ensure the firm operates safely within regulatory boundaries while supporting commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring & Testing Execution
  • Plan Execution: Lead and conduct risk-based testing as defined in the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) to assess adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Transaction & Client Surveillance: Perform deep-dive testing of client files and FX trade data to ensure compliance with market conduct rules, best execution, and safeguarding standards.
  • Consumer Duty Outcomes: Evaluate end-to-end customer journeys and product governance frameworks to ensure the business continuously delivers and evidences good customer outcomes under the Consumer Duty rules.
  • Findings & Remediation: Clearly document complex issues or anomalies, draft comprehensive reports for senior management, and drive the resolution of remediation actions within agreed timelines.
  1. Regulatory Advisory & Support
  • Safeguarding & FX Advisory: Providing proactive advisory to the business on safeguarding obligations, client money rules, and the compliance nuances of FX products and services.
  • Query Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for complex business queries, guiding stakeholders on regulatory expectations and escalating critical matters to the Head of Compliance when necessary.
  • Horizon Scanning & Gap Analysis: Support the Head of Compliance in performing regulatory research, horizon scanning, and gap analyses regarding upcoming changes in payments, FX, and Consumer Duty regulations.
  • Recordkeeping & Audits: Oversee high standards of recordkeeping for compliance logs (breaches, conflicts of interest, PAD) and manage the collection of evidence for internal and external regulatory audits.
  1. Reporting & Training Support
  • Data & MI Reporting: Gather, analyze, and organize complex data sets to produce robust Management Information (MI) and regulatory reports, particularly regarding Consumer Duty metrics and safeguarding health checks.
  • Training Coordination: Develop and deliver targeted compliance training materials to the wider business, raising awareness of FX market conduct, Consumer Duty obligations, and safeguarding protocols.

Key Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Experience: Proven experience in a compliance, risk, or audit-related role within financial services. Substantial experience in FinTech, Payments, or an FX brokerage is highly desirable.

  • Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to work with complex datasets, identify trends or compliance inconsistencies, and translate data into actionable regulatory insights.

Core Attributes

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to distill complex regulatory jargon into clear, actionable business advice. Fluency in English is essential.
  • Agility & Autonomy: Highly comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge the business where necessary, while collaborating effectively with local and group compliance colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to task management and a continuous desire to stay ahead of complex, evolving regulatory frameworks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
