Das Unternehmen erhebt und analysiert weltweite E-Commerce-Transaktionsdaten und ergänzt diese um umfassende Informationen zu Online-Händlern, Ländern, Regionen und Märkten, um strukturierte Erkenntnisse über die Entwicklung des globalen digitalen Handels zu gewinnen. Auf Basis dieser datengetriebenen Analysen ermöglicht ECDB es Unternehmen, Marktdynamiken besser zu verstehen, die eigene Performance mit dem Wettbewerb zu benchmarken und strategische Entscheidungen im internationalen E-Commerce-Umfeld fundiert zu treffen.

Aufgaben

Als Werkstudent (m/w/d) im Data-Team unterstützt du uns bei der Recherche und Qualitätssicherung von Daten im E-Commerce-Bereich. Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Team zusammen und übernimmst unterstützende Aufgaben, um qualitativ hochwertige Daten effizient bereitzustellen und die Datengenauigkeit sicherzustellen.

  • Durchführung von Recherchen zu Unternehmen im E-Commerce-Bereich
  • Systematische Datenerhebung zu Merkmalen von Online-Shops (z. B. Zahlungs- und Versandarten)
  • Offene Desk Research sowie Aufbereitung relevanter Kennzahlen für unsere Datenbank

Anforderungen

  • Immatrikuliert an einer deutschen Hochschule in Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Sozialwissenschaften, Politikwissenschaft, Soziologie, Psychologie oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang mit mindestens einem Jahr Restlaufzeit bis zum Abschluss. Bitte gib den voraussichtlichen Monat und das Jahr deines Studienabschlusses in deinem CV an.
  • Selbstständige und gewissenhafte Arbeitsweise mit einem hohen Maß an Zuverlässigkeit
  • Grundlegendes Verständnis von E-Commerce und allgemeinen wirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit MS Excel ist ein Plus
  • Verhandlungssicheres Englisch, Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus
  • Verfügbarkeit von 15–20 Stunden/Woche, davon 1–2 Bürotage pro Woche (an den übrigen Tagen ist Homeoffice möglich)
  • Wohnsitz in Hamburg
