Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A) Department: FinanceLocation: Milwaukee, WI / Madison, WIReports To: Finance LeadershipEmployment Type: Full-Time Position Summary ECI is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our Finance organization. This role will provide financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and decision support to help business leaders understand financial performance and drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A fundamentals with particular experience analyzing revenue, gross profit, forecasts, and business performance. This individual will partner closely with Finance and business leaders to translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights and recommendations. Position Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting

Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Develop and maintain financial models supporting revenue, expenses, profitability, and business performance. Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts and identify key drivers of variance. Assist with recurring forecasts and provide updated outlooks based on business performance and trends. Support scenario modeling and ad hoc financial analysis for Finance and business leadership.

Revenue & Profitability Analysis

Analyze revenue performance, trends, forecast accuracy, and underlying business drivers. Develop financial analysis around revenue by customer, service, business area, or other relevant dimensions. Analyze gross profit and margin performance and identify significant changes, risks, and opportunities. Support revenue forecasting and improve visibility into future revenue performance. Partner with Finance and operational teams to understand variances between forecasted and actual revenue. Assist with analysis of recurring revenue, project/service revenue, and other revenue streams as appropriate.

This heavier revenue focus is intentional. ECI's internal Finance objectives specifically identify revenue forecast accuracy, license resale revenue/cost accuracy, and gross-profit reporting as FP&A priorities. Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages. Perform budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis. Develop dashboards, financial reports, and KPI reporting for Finance and business leadership. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results and clearly communicate key findings. Improve reporting processes and help increase the accuracy and usefulness of financial information.
