About the Role

What You'll Do

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Take ownership of the full spectrum of accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain lease registry.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the main liaison with external auditors.

Tax & Compliance

  • Support corporate tax, GST filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate information required by tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Others

  • Assist in import and export LC/SBLC submission.
  • Assist the Global Team in payments as required

What You'll Need

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • At least 4 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience in trading, commodities, oil & gas or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) Singapore tax regulations, and internal control.
  • Experience in LC/SBLC.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A team player, collaborative, organised, driven individual, resourceful and tenacious to follow through.
  • At least fair proficiency in spoken Mandarin for communication with China-based stakeholders, as well as in reading Chinese-language documents.
