Data vormt de kern van hoe ECS transport, logistiek en bedrijfsprocessen optimaliseert. Door data om te zetten in betrouwbare en herbruikbare dataproducten, maken we betere rapportering, slimmere analyses en nieuwe AI-mogelijkheden mogelijk. Als Data & Analytics Engineer help je mee aan het uitbouwen van een sterke datafundering die ons bedrijf slimmer en efficiënter maakt. Je maakt deel uit van een dynamisch team. Als Data & Analytics Engineer ontwerp, bouw en beheer je datapipelines, datamodellen en semantische lagen binnen ons Microsoft Fabric-platform. Je zet ruwe brondata om in betrouwbare, herbruikbare en productieklare dataproducten die de basis vormen voor rapportering, analyses en AI-toepassingen. Je combineert sterke technische expertise in SQL, Python en datamodellering met analytisch inzicht en werkt nauw samen met business stakeholders om informatiebehoeften te vertalen naar schaalbare en duurzame dataoplossingen. Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor deze oplossingen gedurende hun volledige levenscyclus: van ontwikkeling en testing tot deployment, monitoring en continue optimalisatie. Werkrooster Kantooruren Locatie Baron de Maerelaan 155, Zeebrugge Verantwoordelijkheden - Je bouwt en onderhoudt ETL/ELT-pipelines en dataproducten binnen Microsoft Fabric. - Je vertaalt businessbehoeften, KPI’s en processen naar schaalbare dataoplossingen. - Je ontwikkelt datamodellen en semantische modellen met een consistente businesslogica. - Je creëert Power BI-rapporten en dashboards die inzichten opleveren voor de business. - Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en prestaties van dataoplossingen. - Je werkt volgens vastgelegde standaarden rond architectuur, security, privacy en governance. - Je monitort, optimaliseert en verbetert bestaande datapipelines en dataproducten. - Je levert betrouwbare data aan voor rapportering, analytics en AI-toepassingen. - Je werkt nauw samen met business- en IT-teams om datagedreven oplossingen uit te bouwen. Je beschikt over onderstaande kwaliteiten - Je hebt sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden en denkt abstract en oplossingsgericht. - Je hebt een sterke interesse in datamodellering, analytics en het oplossen van complexe datavraagstukken. - Je werkt zelfstandig en proactief, maar werkt ook vlot samen met collega's binnen business en IT. - Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante richting of gelijkwaardige ervaring, gecombineerd met minstens 3 jaar relevante werkervaring. - Je hebt een goede kennis van SQL, Python, databases, ETL/ELT-pipelines en moderne dataplatformconcepten zoals lakehouses, warehouses en gelaagde data-architecturen. - Je hebt ervaring met Microsoft Fabric of vergelijkbare moderne dataplatformen en technologieën zoals Databricks, Azure Data Factory of gelijkaardige oplossingen. - Je hebt ervaring met data engineering, datamodellering, semantische modellering en/of analytics engineering. - Je hebt ervaring met Power BI of vergelijkbare BI- en rapporteringstools. Ervaring met semantische modellen is een sterke troef. - Kennis van moderne data-architectuur en CI/CD-principes is een sterke meerwaarde. - Ervaring in of kennis van de transport- en logistieke sector is een pluspunt. - Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Kennis van het Frans is een extra troef.
