Hva er BPA?

Brukerstyrt personlig assistanse (BPA) er en alternativ måte å organisere tjenestene praktisk og personlig bistand på for mennesker med nedsatt funksjonsevne. BPA er et likestillings- og frigjøringsverktøy, og gjennom bistand fra egne assistenter legges det til rette for at personer med bistandsbehov får et aktivt og mest mulig uavhengig liv.

Om meg og mitt behov

Jeg er en dame i 70 årene som bor i Mysen sammen med min mann. Jeg har ALS og trenger derfor litt ekstra hjelp i hverdagen for å få dagene til å fungere best mulig. Jeg liker å komme meg litt ut og setter pris på hyggelig selskap.

Nå søker jeg to BPA-assistenter i faste deltidsstillinger på cirka 10-12 timer per uke hver. Arbeidstiden vil hovedsakelig være på dagtid, og noe helgearbeid. Tidspunktene kan vi bli enige om sammen, slik at det passer for begge parter.

Som min assistent vil du hjelpe meg med å gjøre hverdagen min enklest mulig. Det er viktig for meg å finne en person som ikke bare kan hjelpe til med oppgavene, men som også bidrar til en hyggelig atmosfære og som jeg kan trives sammen med i hverdagen.

Arbeidsoppgavene vil blant annet være:

  • Hjelp med forflytning
  • Bistå med bruk av tekniske hjelpemidler
  • Praktisk bistand i hverdagen og enkelt husarbeid
  • Bistand til enkel personlig hygiene
  • Bistå på turer og i butikker
  • Kjøring

Personlige egenskaper:

  • Du er trygg, tålmodig og omsorgsfull
  • Du er selvstendig og tar initiativ når det trengs
  • Du bidrar til en positiv og løsningsorientert hverdag
  • Du kommuniserer godt

Personlig egnethet og kjemi vektlegges.

Kvalifikasjoner:

  • Har gode norskkunnskaper
  • Gyldig politiattest
  • Erfaring som BPA er positivt, men vel så viktig er viljen og ønsket om å lære
  • Førerkort klasse B
