As a host, you are more than just the first point of contact — you are the experience. From the moment guests walk in, you create a warm welcome, set the tone, and leave a lasting impression.

With your energy, presence, and natural sense of hospitality, you know exactly how to make people feel comfortable. You move effortlessly between situations: from professionally welcoming guests to handling unexpected moments — always with a smile and a strong focus on service.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude
  • Guide guests to their table or seating area
  • Manage reservations and keep overview during busy shifts
  • Create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
  • Support the team where needed

WHO ARE WE?

The new Eden Hotel Amsterdam has undergone a complete metamorphosis after its renovation. We have a real Tokyo-style hotel bar, a beautiful Food Theatre where you can eat and drink all day long and a self-service concept has been rolled out in the new lobby. The addition of 5 new rooms brings the total to no less than 391 and makes us one of the largest hotels in the center of Amsterdam. A large number of rooms were also refurbished with a Burlesque theme. The history of Eden Hotels and the history of the hotel and its surroundings are brought to the fore in every aspect of the new design.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You always put the guest first.
  • You are flexible, energetic and calm in any situation.
  • You have experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus.
  • You work well independently and in a team.
  • You are proactive, responsible and a real go-getter.
  • Experience with reservation systems and first aid is an advantage.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • At least two years of hospitality experience.
  • You can easily travel to work at all times.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
