The posting

Led by an experienced management team and supported by a strong investor group, including large and experienced institutions and strategic partners, EdgeConneX offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where we are bringing flexibility, proximity, power, and connectivity to some of the world’s key businesses. With major offices in Herndon, Denver, and Amsterdam, we have a global footprint and a unified team of employees committed to providing a premier customer experience and delivering the full spectrum of data center solutions, from core to edge, like no other data center provider can do.

Focused on driving innovation and helping our customers define and deliver their own unique vision for the Edge, at any scale, in any market worldwide, for any requirement, we are building tomorrow’s data center infrastructure, today for some of the world’s most demanding Network, Content, and Cloud customers.

The Senior Program Scheduler (EMEA) plays a key role in strengthening schedule performance across EdgeConneX’s regional data center delivery portfolio. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams and strategic partners, this role helps improve schedule quality, resilience, and consistency across projects while supporting on-time execution. Because strategic partners develop the underlying project schedules, the Senior Program Scheduler focuses on reviewing, challenging, and improving those schedules as conditions evolve, helping drive corrective action and portfolio-level alignment. This role also serves as the EdgeConneX point of contact for customers and other stakeholders on schedule matters and reports to the VP of PMO EMEA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the continuous improvement of EMEA program and project schedules, recognizing that ECX relies on strategic partners to develop project schedules while this role reviews, strengthens, and updates them as conditions change to keep projects on track, including maintaining a resilient regional master schedule in collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Engineering, PMO, customers, and strategic partners to clarify requirements, align schedule expectations, and represent EdgeConneX on schedule matters.
  • Monitor scope changes, emerging risks, schedule conflicts, and portfolio-level constraints; escalate issues and support mitigation, contingency, and re-sequencing plans.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc schedule updates, progress reports, and risk summaries for customers, lenders, internal management, and project teams.
  • Track deployment progress through schedule reviews, contractor engagement, site observations, and other project data to validate status and identify delays early.
  • Improve schedule resilience with project partners by applying sound scheduling practices, strengthening execution plans, and implementing lessons learned across the regional portfolio.
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, variance, baseline deviation, and schedule risk analysis, and recommend actions to protect project and program outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Fluent English and proficiency in at least one additional European language.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions and drive issues to resolution.
  • Understanding of data center construction practices and project sequencing.
  • Strong knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and contractor roles.
  • Experience supporting projects or programs exceeding multiple individual $200M projects, including process improvement, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and or Cloud.
  • Ability to perform quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) and translate results into practical actions.
  • Self starter with sound judgment, a positive attitude, and strong interpersonal awareness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally diverse environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and align them to organizational priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to meet commitments and deliver on schedule while collaborating effectively with peers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to schedule for safety.

Experience & Education

  • 7+ years of scheduling experience in the data center, construction, or real estate industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional planning or scheduling certification, such as CPE, PSP, PMI-SP, or equivalent, preferred.

Travel

  • 25–50% travel, with flexibility to travel on short notice.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
