The posting

Als pedagogisch ondersteuner werk je nauw samen met de leerkracht en ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor een vlot en positief verloop van de lessen. Je neemt hierbij een ondersteunende rol op.

Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

  • Ondersteunen van de leerkracht tijdens de lessen
  • Begeleiden van leerlingen die extra sturing, uitleg of individuele aandacht nodig hebben.
  • Versterken van het klasmanagement: je helpt duidelijke afspraken en routines bewaken en draagt bij aan een rustige, veilige en respectvolle leeromgeving.
  • Omgaan met uitdagend gedrag: je reageert op een pedagogisch onderbouwde, rustige en consequente manier op storend gedrag en helpt escalaties voorkomen.
  • Je stemt regelmatig af met de betrokken leerkrachten, de leerlingenbegeleiding en de directie over de noden, de aanpak en de evolutie binnen de klassen.

Je beschikt over:

  • Een bachelordiploma met pedagogische kwalificatie.
  • Een sterke affiniteit met jongeren en hun leefwereld.
  • Goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
  • Een rustige, positieve en consequente aanpak.
  • Het vermogen om grenzen te stellen en tegelijk een vertrouwensrelatie met leerlingen op te bouwen.
  • Een flexibele en oplossingsgerichte houding.
  • De bereidheid om nauw samen te werken met leerkrachten en andere leden van het schoolteam.
  • Je bent wel iemand die initiatief neemt, pedagogisch doordacht handelt en samen met collega’s naar oplossingen zoekt.
