The posting

Location: Flexible within the European time zone Contract: Fixed term contract, approximately 1 year Preferred start: As soon as possible

Would you like to take ownership of digital products that support dairy farmers around the world? We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join DeLaval’s Digital Services team and play an important role in the continued development of DeLaval Plus. You will step into a key product area where you will set priorities, bring different stakeholders together and help shape a digital experience used across DeLaval’s global ecosystem.

About DeLaval DeLaval is a global leader in dairy farming solutions, supporting farmers around the world with equipment, services and digital solutions that contribute to better animal welfare, increased farm productivity and more sustainable milk production.

You will join an international environment and work together with colleagues across product, technology and business, with the opportunity to contribute to digital solutions used by dairy farmers around the world.

About the role As Product Manager, you will be responsible for shared capabilities within DeLaval Plus, the digital platform that gives farmers, dealers and internal users access to animal management services.

Your focus will be on the overall platform experience and on making services easy to find, understand and use. This includes areas such as navigation, the home screen experience, service visibility and other common functionality across the platform.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, development teams, Design, Architecture, Commercial Offering and other stakeholders. An important part of your role will be to understand different perspectives, create clear priorities and make sure everyone has a common direction.

You will also have product responsibility for Sync Cloud, a service that enables data exchange between DeLaval and external partners. You do not need to be a technical expert. You will have technical expertise around you, but you should be comfortable working with digital products and collaborating with technical teams.

Your responsibilities

• Define and maintain the roadmap for shared capabilities within DeLaval Plus

• Translate customer, business and internal needs into clear product priorities and requirements

• Improve how users find, understand and access services across the platform

• Coordinate shared functionality across different product areas

• Take product responsibility for Sync Cloud and coordinate priorities related to data exchange with external partners

• Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners and development teams to manage priorities and dependencies

• Support product discovery, validation and delivery

• Communicate priorities, decisions and progress clearly across different stakeholder groups

• Take ownership of your area and independently make sure that work continues to move forward

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who can step into an established environment, take ownership and quickly become part of the team. You are comfortable working independently and enjoy collaborating with people from different functions and backgrounds. You know how to bring structure to different needs and perspectives, make priorities clear and turn discussions into action.

Communication will be an important part of the role. You should be comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders and able to create clarity even when several teams and interests are involved.

We believe you have:

• Solid experience in Product Management or a similar product focused role

• Experience working with digital products, services or platforms

• Experience with Agile ways of working

• Experience managing product roadmaps and priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• The ability to take ownership and work independently

• A good understanding of customer journeys and digital user experience

• Experience working with tools such as Jira and Confluence

Experience from agriculture, dairy farming, cloud services or integrations is an advantage, but not a requirement. For this role, practical Product Management experience, ownership and the ability to get things moving are more important than a specific educational background.

About the assignment There is flexibility regarding where you are based within the European time zone. Remote work is possible, although being located close to a DeLaval office can be an advantage, particularly during onboarding.

Some travel will be part of the role, as you will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders across the organisation.

We look forward to hearing from you! Does this sound like a role for you, or perhaps someone you know? We review applications continuously and may move forward with the right candidate before the application deadline, so feel free to apply as soon as possible.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
