Egglefield Ford is a long established, family owned dealership with over 100 years in operation. We focus on efficient, accurate service and a professional work environment. This position is at our sister store in Raybrook, NY. - High Peaks Ford

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and motivated technicians to join our Service Team. Candidates should have prior automotive experience and an interest in continued onsite training. Our team works together to deliver consistent, high quality service. If you have the skills and work ethic to contribute, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership procedures

• Use diagnostic tools and service equipment; test drive vehicles as needed

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair systems including engine, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC

• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding repair status, additional needs, and time requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written instructions and repair information

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team

• Comfortable in a fast paced environment

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications

• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment; basic computer skills

• Maintains a clean and organized work area
