Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transportation Manager to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of transportation carrier management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to optimize transportation operations.

You will

  • Oversee and manage daily transportation operations, including route planning and performance monitoring
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with transportation carriers and third-party logistics providers
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards
  • Site budget management and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of drivers and logistics personnel
  • Implement strategies to improve service levels, reduce delays, and increase overall efficiency
  • Analyze transportation data and KPIs to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams

We expect you to:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation or carrier management
  • Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, DOT compliance, and fleet management
  • Active CDL (Class A) preferred
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
