About Eitan Medical

Eitan Medical is a fast-growing global medical device company, developing and manufacturing innovative drug delivery and infusion solutions across the continuum of care – from the hospital to the home. Our portfolio includes the Sapphire™ infusion platform with the Drug Library Editor and Sapphire Connect, the Avoset™ ambulatory infusion system, and Insights data analytics. Headquartered in Israel, with entities in the US, UK & France, we support clinicians and patients through direct teams in these countries and through a network of around 30+ distribution partners worldwide.

Role purpose

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Global Clinical Training Manager to own how the world learns to use our infusion systems safely and confidently. You will set the global training strategy, create engaging learning content, run the Eitan Medical Academy, equip our distributors to train to the same high standard, and make sure every training programme is compliant and audit-ready under EU MDR and ISO 13485. It is a highly visible role at the heart of Marketing, Sales, Quality and Clinical teams, with real scope to shape the function.

Key responsibilities

Training strategy & content

• Define and deliver the global clinical training strategy and curriculum for all user groups: nurses, pharmacists, biomedical engineers, hospital trainers, home patients and carers.

• Design and produce engaging blended learning – e-learning modules, videos, quick guides and presentations – using digital AI tools and PowerPoint, for Sapphire, Drug Library Editor/Sapphire Connect, Avoset/AvosetGo and Insights.

• Build pre- and post-training assessments into programmes, using knowledge checks and observed skills demonstrations that match the learning objectives.

• Keep training aligned with product launches, software releases and labelling changes, working closely with Product and Clinical Affairs.

LMS & tools

• Own and grow the Eitan Medical Academy LMS: course structure, user access, assignments, completions and reporting.

• Evaluate and introduce new learning technologies and tools that improve reach and efficiency.

Regulatory & QMS compliance

• Own training matrices, training records and attendance documentation, and take training materials through controlled review and approval in the Salesforce-based eQMS – including part-number requests and traceability.

• Act as subject-matter expert for training during notified-body (TÜV SÜD), EU MDR and ISO 13485 audits; draft responses to findings and drive corrective actions.

• Maintain the customer training procedure and global training tracker, keeping records complete and inspection-ready.

Distributor & customer training

• Run train-the-trainer programmes for our distribution partners, qualify distributor instructors and make sure partners keep compliant training records.

• Oversee clinical training for customers in direct markets.

• Coordinate with regional clinical educators to keep a consistent global standard.

Metrics, budget & vendors

• Define and report training KPIs – coverage, completion and record compliance – and use them to drive continuous improvement.

• Own the training budget and contribute to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), tracking spend against plan.

• Manage translation and localisation vendors and creative partners, ensuring quality, timelines and review.

Success measures – first 6–12 months

• Smooth handover in place: all open training projects, matrices and eQMS approvals owned and on track.

• Training records audit-ready, with no major training-related findings at the next notified-body or ISO 13485 audit.

• Distributor training refreshed: active partners trained or re-qualified, and training records collected and logged.

• Priority e-learning and quick guides (including Avoset and Drug Library Editor content) released on the Academy, with key translations live.

• Training KPI dashboard and budget tracking in place, and a training plan agreed for the next AOP cycle.

Requirements

Must-have

• 5+ years’ experience in clinical or medical device training, education or clinical applications.

• Proven track record of designing and delivering training to clinicians, plus train-the-trainer programmes.

• Demonstrated experience creating clinical education materials grounded in adult learning theory and using statistical methods to evaluate changes in learner knowledge or skills.

• Hands-on experience creating e-learning and video content and administering an LMS.

• Working knowledge of a regulated quality environment – EU MDR, ISO 13485, document control and training records.

• Excellent presentation, writing and stakeholder skills; comfortable working across cultures and time zones.

• Fluent English (written and spoken); willing to travel c. 30%, including internationally.

• Nursing or pharmacy background (e.g. registered nurse or pharmacist).

• Experience with infusion therapy, infusion pumps, drug libraries or home infusion.

Nice-to-have

• Experience managing distributors or international partners, and translation/localisation projects.

• Familiarity with Absorb or similar LMS, and Salesforce/eQMS.

What we offer

• A global, high-impact role with the freedom to shape how a growing medical device company trains its users.

• Products that make a real difference to patients, from the hospital to the home.

• A collaborative, international team spanning Israel, the UK, Europe, the US and APAC.

• International exposure and genuine opportunities to grow your career.

• A competitive remuneration package.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
