About Elemental Impact

Elemental Impact is a nonprofit investor with 17 years of experience advancing innovative technologies with deep environmental and local impact. Elemental is supported by 40 funders and its portfolio includes 160 companies that have catalyzed $11.8B in additional funding and created more than 18,100 jobs. Elemental works to address market failures for first-of-a-kind and early commercial projects by providing catalytic capital and specialized expertise—from policy engagement to workforce development.

About the Role

Elemental is seeking a Creative Analyst to join our Communications team. This role sits at the intersection of project management and visual storytelling. We’re looking for someone who pairs exceptional attention to detail with a creative mindset. You enjoy bringing structure to creative work, are comfortable moving between project management and hands-on execution, and are eager to explore how new tools—including AI—can make creative teams more effective. You will also help bring Elemental’s brand to life across our digital channels, visual communications, and events while keeping a fast-moving portfolio of creative projects organized and on track.

This position will report to the Managing Director, Brand and Creative and work closely with Elemental’s Communications team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Creative Project Management

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director, Brand and Creative to build and maintain clear project briefs, leveraging AI and other tools to make creative workflows more efficient.
  • Support project management across communications and creative projects, including developing timelines, tracking deliverables, and keeping projects moving toward completion.
  • Coordinate logistics and schedules for photo and video shoots.
  • Develop clear briefing materials for creative vendors, including photographers, videographers, designers, and other production partners.
  • Maintain Elemental’s photo asset management system in Canto, ensuring assets are organized, searchable, and accessible to the team.
  • Build and maintain a centralized video asset management system.
  • Help improve the systems, tools, and processes the team uses to manage creative projects and assets.
  • Maintain and update Elemental’s website, including publishing blog posts, updating page copy and images using our content management system, and liaising with Elemental’s technical website team as needed.

Visual Communications

  • Independently create polished visuals leveraging Elemental’s existing brand system and creative templates, including presentation decks, social graphics, simple videos, and other digital assets.
  • Partner with Elemental’s Senior Designer and Communications team to translate ideas and information into clear, compelling visual content.

Owned events

  • Support Elemental’s Events Director in developing and maintaining event project briefs, production timelines, and planning materials.
  • Curate, organize, and maintain audience and invitation lists for Elemental events.
  • Track event registration and guest logistics, including RSVPs, waitlists, rooming lists, and other attendee information.
  • Support event production and coordination leading up to Elemental’s owned events.

About you

You are equal parts organizer and creative thinker. You like making complex projects feel manageable and take pride in the details that make creative work excellent. You can keep a project tracker organized one moment and jump into a presentation or social graphic the next.

You’re naturally curious about visual storytelling and emerging creative tools. You don’t need to be a specialist designer, photographer, or videographer, but you have a strong visual eye and a desire to learn about what makes creative work clear, engaging, and on-brand.

You thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments and are comfortable juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders without losing sight of the details.

Qualifications

Foundational skills & experience:

  • Mission alignment – energized by Elemental’s mission and values and want to apply your creative and operational skills to the work
  • Creative production experience – professional experience in creative project management, production, digital media or marketing, brand development, or a related field
  • Project management – ability to manage timelines, deliverables, details, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects
  • Detail orientation – a track record of producing accurate, polished work and keeping complex information organized
  • Visual fluency – experience creating or producing visual communications, with a strong eye for design and storytelling
  • Digital savvy – comfort working across websites, digital asset management systems, presentation and design tools, and other digital platforms

What Will Set You Apart

  • Creative curiosity – generate ideas, explore possibilities, and look for ways to make the work better rather than simply executing what already exists.
  • AI fluency – excited to experiment with AI and emerging tools to improve creative development, project management, and production workflows.
  • Design instincts – hands-on experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time "at-will" position working at least 40 hours per week. You may be asked to travel for work periodically. Our offer will be within the range as required by certain state laws and individual salary offers will vary within the range depending on relevant education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
