Have you designed or improved a Microsoft 365 or Power Platform solution that made a real difference?

Have you helped a team or organisation get the most out of technology?

About the team

You’ll join a collaborative End User Compute (EUC) engineering team within Elsevier, reporting into the Systems Engineering Lead. The team is responsible for delivering and evolving modern workplace technologies that enable colleagues globally to work efficiently and securely.

We focus on continuous improvement across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, combining technical expertise with a strong emphasis on user experience, governance, and innovation. You’ll work in a supportive, agile environment where knowledge sharing, learning, and teamwork are part of how we deliver value every day.

About the role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll lead the design and support of collaboration solutions with a strong focus on the core productivity solutions. You will assist the Enterprise Engineering Lead in delivering the EUC roadmap, acting as a point of escalation, and driving technical improvements across the M365 ecosystem.

You’ll also champion Power Platform/Co-Pilot governance, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. Additionally, you’ll contribute to a shift-left culture through technical mentorship, agile collaboration, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and implement best practices across Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and Power Platform
  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure performance, security, and compliance
  • Lead and support the development and application of governance practices for Power Platform and AI-enabled tools
  • Work with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical, scalable solutions
  • Act as a technical point of contact for collaboration and productivity platforms
  • Deliver improvements and new capabilities within the M365 ecosystem, supporting user adoption
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out and maintain solutions
  • Share knowledge, support team development, and contribute to collaborative ways of working

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange)
  • Experience designing, implementing, or supporting Power Platform solutions and tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and/or M365
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of audiences
  • Experience working collaboratively in delivery-focused or agile environments
  • Familiarity with Copilot or AI-enabled technologies
  • Experience with administering collaboration tools such as Slack
  • Exposure to managing bulk email solutions like SendGrid
  • Understanding of governance, security, or compliance practices (or willingness to develop this knowledge)
  • Interest in supporting and mentoring others

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
