The posting

LiveX AI · Senior Product Designer Palo Alto, CA · Full-time, on-site · Department: Product & Design · Reports to: CEO Source: https://livex.ai/careers/senior-product-designer (posted Oct 9, 2026)

ABOUT LIVEX AI

LiveX AI builds the human-AI interface for the physical world. Through its AI City work with NVIDIA, people can walk up, talk face-to-face with an AI, and get help in stores, hotels, hospitals, airports, and stadiums. Its 4K full-body AI agents support 140 languages, display products in 3D, give interactive instruction, and run on-prem or in the cloud. Customers include Walmart, PUMA, and the NFL Super Bowl. LiveX handles IP design, hardware, interaction, enterprise AI agents, and deployment in-house. Two form factors, Gateway (freestanding, life-size) and Portal (wall-mounted, shelf edge), share the same experience and content. Early-stage startup.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Own how LiveX looks, feels, and works: the on-screen characters, the interactions people have with them, and how LiveX is introduced to the public. A hands-on Senior Product Designer with strong visual craft who works across product, brand and campaigns, motion, 3D, and interactive prototypes, taking projects from early concept through finished assets, polished interfaces, and working web prototypes, and shipping them with engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design the human-AI interface: user flows, interfaces, and interactions for Gateway and Portal, covering touch, voice, and content on a life-size screen used by walk-up users in noisy environments.

- Shape the characters: develop the look and presence of 4K digital twins and branded characters (mascots, house experts, licensed talent), including how they move, gesture, and present products.

- Bring products to life in 3D: product renders, scenes, and animations for on-screen display, launches, ads, and product pages.

- Create motion and video: motion graphics; edit product films, demos, and event videos from raw footage to final delivery.

- Lead visual design for campaigns and launches: key visuals, posters, trade show graphics, social assets, on-screen content.

- Build working prototypes: turn interactive concepts into HTML/CSS/JavaScript web demos, then develop them further with engineering.

- Develop AI-assisted creative workflows combining generative image/video tools with professional design and 3D tools.

- Contribute original ideas: campaign concepts, product features, new ways people can interact with AI in the physical world.

- Maintain a consistent brand across screen, print, digital, video, and 3D.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5–8 years of professional product design experience, with visual design as a core strength and shipped UX/UI work.

- Early-stage startup experience (seed to Series B, under ~50 people), owning design end to end without a design team.

- Strong portfolio of published advertising work: campaigns, posters, key visuals.

- Proficiency with generative image and video tools, with good judgment about when to use them.

- Advanced skills in professional design, motion graphics, and video editing software.

- Solid 3D skills: modeling, lighting, materials, rendering, animation.

- Hands-on motion design, video graphics, and editing experience.

- Can build small web projects independently and hand them off to engineers.

- Required: hands-on use of AI coding tools for design and prototyping.

- Initiative, creative ownership, and a clear point of view on product and design.

- Able to work on-site in Palo Alto; lives in or will relocate to the SF Bay Area.

Design taste, visual craft, and product judgment are the most important hiring criteria.

NICE-TO-HAVES

- Strongly preferred: digital human or virtual avatar experience (character design, real-time avatars, lip-sync, performance capture).

- Game art, game UI, or real-time 3D engine work.

- UX/UI for touchscreens, voice interfaces, or large-format displays.

- End-to-end ownership in a startup or small team.

- Modern front-end frameworks or real-time 3D on the web.

COMPENSATION

Not listed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
