Position: CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
  • Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
  • Proficient in operating CNC machines and reading technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of machining techniques and cutting tools
  • Familiarity with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if required
  • Certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field is an asset
