About Us: Employ Me Employment specialises in temporary, permanent and outsourced workforce recruitment and placement solutions. We have partnered with Alday Agriculture - Victoria and are recruiting for multiple positions across the company.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, youll support the enterprise in the testing and maintenance of agricultural mechanical systems and components. Youll play a critical part in ensuring continuity of mechanical systems and components in real-world applications!

Responsibilities: - Assist the team in testing and maintenance of mechanical systems, prototypes, and components - Set up, operate, and maintain testing and maintenance equipment - Document testing and maintenance procedures, data, and results accurately - Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Farming, Technical Support, Workshop and Field Teams

Qualifications: - Associate degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field - Agricultural Background and - Experience (5+ years preferred) - 5+ years of experience in a mechanical/technical role (internships count!) - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Familiarity with testing and maintenance processes and technical documentation - Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
