Osastoesihenkilönä vastaat kokonaisvaltaisesti oman osastosi toiminnasta ja johtamisesta. Suurin osa osastosi linjoista pyörii keskeytymättömässä kolmivuorossa läpi vuoden. Työtehtävänäsi on varmistaa päivittäisen tuotannon sujuvuus suunnitelman mukaisesti, optimoiden samalla osaston resurssien käyttöä.

Vastuualueeseesi kuuluu osaston henkilöstön johtaminen tehokkaasti ja motivoivasti sekä työturvallisuuden takaaminen Prysmianin turvallisuusohjeiden ja -standardien mukaisesti. Vastaat osastosi laaduntuottokyvystä sekä huolehdit siitä, että yhteistyö yrityksen muiden sidosryhmien, kuten kunnossapidon, laadun, prosessin ja tuotannon suunnittelun, kanssa toimii. Vuorosuunnittelu ja kehityskeskustelut sisältyvät tehtäviisi. Raportoit tehtävässä tuotantopäällikölle.

We are looking for a Department Supervisor

To join our team in Oulu, Finland. You are responsible for the overall operation and management of your own department. Most of your department's lines will run uninterrupted three shifts throughout the year. Your job is to ensure that daily production runs smoothly according to plan while optimizing the use of departmental resources.

Your responsibilities will include managing the department's staff in an efficient and motivating manner and ensuring safety at work in accordance with Prysmian's safety guidelines and standards. You will be responsible for the quality performance of your department and ensure that collaboration with other company stakeholders such as Maintenance, Quality, Process, and Production Planning is effective. Shift planning and development discussions will be part of your duties. You will report to the Production Manager.

We expect you to have

  • An appropriate technical education (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent).
  • A few years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills, you will motivate and support your team in your daily work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a hectic environment.
  • Good command of Finnish and English.
