📋 Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Voor een maatschappelijk relevante omgeving in Brussel zoeken we een Tech Lead die een bestaand team van vier personen versterkt. Het team ontwikkelt een Python-applicatie in Django ter ondersteuning van operationele noden.

In deze rol bepaal je de technische koers van het platform, stuur je de architectuur aan en coördineer je het technische werk binnen het team. Je werkt nauw samen met de projectmanager om businessdoelstellingen te vertalen naar een haalbare en duurzame technische implementatie. Daarnaast begeleid je het team bij complexe technische vraagstukken en bewaak je de technische kwaliteit van de oplossing.

  • Je neemt de technische leiding binnen het team en ondersteunt ontwikkelaars via coaching, mentoring en code reviews.
  • Je definieert coding standards, testingaanpak en best practices rond security en continuous improvement.
  • Je ontwerpt schaalbare, onderhoudbare en performante softwarearchitecturen met oog voor betrouwbaarheid en beveiliging.
  • Je draagt actief bij aan de ontwikkeling van moderne webapplicaties, zowel aan front-endzijde met HTML, CSS, JavaScript en React als aan back-endzijde met Python en Django.
  • Je werkt aan data-gedreven toepassingen en integraties, met aandacht voor gegevenskwaliteit, integriteit en betrouwbaarheid.
  • Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt API-koppelingen via REST, SOAP en GraphQL.
  • Je zet mee in op versiebeheer en softwarelevering met Git, GitHub, GitLab en CI/CD-processen.
  • Je hebt voeling met deployment, automatisering en samenwerking binnen een Agile-omgeving, inclusief het gebruik van tools zoals Jira.

Het project wordt volledig on-premise ontwikkeld volgens Agile-methoden. Er wordt een aanwezigheid van twee dagen per week op kantoor verwacht, op dinsdag en donderdag, in Brussel. Voor deze functie moet je een veiligheidsaccreditatie kunnen verkrijgen.

📝 Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt minimaal een bachelor in Software Development, IT of gelijkwaardige aantoonbare ervaring in softwareontwikkeling.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring in applicatieontwikkeling met Python en ruime expertise in Django.
  • Je combineert technische diepgang met leiderschapsvaardigheden en kan ontwikkelteams inhoudelijk begeleiden.
  • Je hebt sterke kennis van softwarearchitectuur en system design, met aandacht voor schaalbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid, performantie en security.
  • Je hebt grondige ervaring met front-endontwikkeling in React, aangevuld met een goede beheersing van HTML, CSS en JavaScript.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met dataverwerking in Python, SQL en Pandas.
  • Je hebt ervaring met API-ontwikkeling en integratie via REST, SOAP en GraphQL.
  • Je werkt vlot met Git, GitHub, GitLab en CI/CD.
  • Je communiceert sterk, werkt graag samen en hebt een proactieve houding met oog voor detail.
  • Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van het Engels en beheerst minstens één landstaal, bij voorkeur Nederlands en Frans. Indien je slechts één landstaal actief beheerst, is passief begrip van de andere nodig.
