Als Manufacturing Engineer werk je aan de opstart, verbetering en optimalisatie van productieomgevingen bij industriële klanten in Limburg, de Kempen, Vlaams-Brabant en Antwerpen. Je vertaalt nieuwe producten en ideeën naar efficiënte productiemethodes, tools en productielijnen en combineert daarbij analyse met technische creativiteit.Productieprocessen en productielijnen* Start nieuwe productielijnen op en optimaliseer bestaande productiemethodes.* Analyseer producten en bepaal geschikte kalibers en productietechnieken.* Werk samen met R&D aan een kwalitatieve en efficiënte opstart van nieuwe productielijnen.* Verbeter productieprocessen met focus op efficiëntie, betrouwbaarheid en robuustheid.* Denk mee over productiemachines en werk voorstellen uit voor aankoop of realisatie met machinebouwers.* Ondersteun automatiseringsoplossingen en pas waar relevant PLC-kennis toe.Technische uitwerking en realisatie* Vertaal ideeën voor montage- en kwaliteitstools naar technisch realiseerbare oplossingen.* Werk ontwerpen uit met CAD-software zoals SolidWorks of Inventor.* Volg de realisatie van ontwerpen op samen met de interne prototype-afdeling.* Vergelijk en benchmark technische oplossingen met collega's en het prototyping team.* Combineer technische kennis, analyse en creativiteit om praktische verbeteringen te realiseren.Wat maakt deze rol uniek?* Combineer productontwikkeling, engineering en productieoptimalisatie binnen uiteenlopende industriële projecten.* Werk van technisch concept tot concrete realisatie en opstart op de productievloer.* Werk intensief samen met R&D, productie, prototype-afdelingen en machinebouwers.* Bouw je expertise verder uit in productietechnieken, automatisering en Operational Excellence.

* Je beschikt over een diploma industrieel ingenieur of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond.* Je hebt relevante ervaring binnen bijvoorbeeld process engineering, manufacturing engineering of methodiek.* Je beschikt over sterk logisch-abstract en analytisch redeneervermogen.* Je bent technisch creatief en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen.* Je hebt een brede basiskennis van productietechnieken.* Je bent vertrouwd met Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, SMED en Six Sigma.* Je hebt interesse in productieautomatisering en PLC-technieken.* Ervaring met CAD-software zoals SolidWorks of Inventor is een sterke troef.* Je communiceert to-the-point, neemt initiatief en krijgt anderen mee in technische verbetertrajecten.* Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
