The posting

Are you looking for a part-time teaching opportunity within a caring, faith-centred school community?

English Martyrs is seeking to appoint two talented Class Teachers (0.4 FTE) to join established and successful job-share partnerships. We currently anticipate one vacancy in KS1 and one in KS2, although we welcome applications from teachers with strengths across either phase and will discuss placement during the interview process.

At English Martyrs, our mission is to nurture every child to achieve their full potential through our Catholic values and our school Mission Statement, LIGHT. We pride ourselves on our warm, supportive environment where children and staff flourish together.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking a part-time role while remaining fully involved in the life of a thriving school.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaboratively planning and delivering high-quality learning as part of a job-share team.
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil achievement and progress.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
  • Supporting and promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
  • Meeting all professional expectations set out in the Teachers' Standards.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
