The posting

ESF is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Analyst to join our core team as we drive our ambitious Digital Modernization initiative. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing, configuring, and supporting core enterprise platforms (including Toddle and Sentral) across our 24 schools.

Working collaboratively with school leadership, vendors, and central teams, you will help streamline platform workflows, resolve technical integration challenges, and consolidate system enhancements into clear operational roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional configuration, system updates, and workflow setups for SaaS educational platforms, ensuring alignment with school operations.
  • Partner with external vendors and internal technical teams to diagnose root causes, manage system patches, and resolve integration issues between enterprise systems.
  • Consolidate, evaluate, and prioritize change requests and technical enhancements across multiple school feedback streams into a single structured master backlog.
  • Collaborate directly with Vice Principals, Change Champions, and school administrators across 24 schools to gather requirements, run UAT, and support training initiatives.

Technical Competencies Required:

  • At least 4 years of SQL programming experience with a preference for SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • At least 5 years of web application development experience in PHP
  • Designing & building backend APIs and middleware architectures
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a strong advantage
  • At least two years of experience providing IT application support to end customers

Technical & Professional Experience

  • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst managing large-scale application rollouts, SaaS implementations, and complex enhancement backlogs.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, testing, and troubleshooting cross-system integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, as well as managing vendor patches and fixes.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a track record of translating complex school/business requirements into clear technical specifications and action plans.

Core Competencies & Personal Attributes

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative, customer-centric approach to supporting non-technical stakeholders and school staff.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative to identify operational needs and deliver quality results independently without needing prompt supervision.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the flexibility to adapt smoothly to shifting project needs and tight deadlines.

Typical reporting relationship: Learning Management Systems Manager

Minimum typical education: University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines

Minimum typical experience: 7 to 10 years of IT application development and support experience.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
