JOB OVERVIEW:

The ESPI (EPIC Specialty Programs Insurance) Programs Division at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants delivers specialized insurance solutions through program management, risk assessment, and customized coverage. Our team works closely with clients to understand their needs, mitigate risk, and enhance their insurance portfolios, leveraging strong insurer relationships and deep industry expertise. The book is middle market to large, complex accounts and mostly consists of clients who are in the auto dealership or golf industries.

The Insurance Client Service Coordinator (CSC) role is an entry-level role & a great opportunity to get one's foot in the door to a career in the insurance industry! This position interacts with customers and employees as the first point of contact to provide requested information, and assists with other projects as needed by different business lines. The CSC responsibilities include providing day-to-day support to our Property & Casualty Team and our clients. This includes assisting clients with various online service platforms and acting as an internal accountability partner for EPIC’s value-added services. The CSC will assist in the renewal, external marketing, loss analysis and ongoing service to client; they will prepare RFPs and client presentations as well as other deliverables.

LOCATION: HYBRID - 3 days a week in-office in Rancho Cordova, CA or Reno, NV

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn! Insurance industry experience is nice to have but not required. The team can teach the important aspects of the industry, but ideal candidates will love learning, be a self-starter & enjoy variety in their work.

  • Candidates with strong, professional communication skills – both written and verbal. Ideal candidates can successfully pivot between providing detailed and accurate written communication, as well as picking up the phone and having a detailed verbal conversation.
  • High attention to detail, and the ability to learn and understand software systems quickly.
  • Candidates who adapt well to priority changes, deadlines, and can multi-task and manage projects well.
  • Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • As directed, ensures that internal/external inquiries to the online services are responded to and resolved within established guidelines while providing excellent customer service; • Upon renewal/onboarding of an account, determine services to be provided with input from Production and Marketing. • Communicate to individual team members the assigned responsibilities and required timeline related to individual client services plans. • Assimilate data from multiple departments into a cohesive deliverable. • Participate in external marketing campaigns as requested • Assist in day to day service needs of assigned accounts. • Other office duties and special projects as assigned;

PERSONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: • Set priorities and manage workflow for self to ensure all goals are met; • Maritain cordial and effective relationships with all parties; • Maintain up-to-date proposals, workflow logs, update all required documentation and records; • Interact with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed, to achieve the business goals of the Team/Company; • Stay informed regarding industry information, trends, new product/program developments, coverages and technology to continually improve service, work product, and knowledge and performance; • Project a professional image in action and appearance;

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include Excel, Word. Outlook, Power Point and presentation software; • Ability to obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information in a discreet and professional manner; • Solid problem solving, analytical abilities and critical thinking skillset; • Strong attention to detail; • Ability to work both on a team and independently; with or without, direct supervision; • Performing with effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines; • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral; • Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy; • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree preferred; • Prefer 2 years current relevant experience.

COMPENSATION:

Non-Exempt: The hourly pay range for this position is $20.51 – $33.33 per hour and standard workweeks are 37.5 hours. This range represents the employer’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
