Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is Hiring a IT Project Coordinator Intern

At EquipmentShare, we’re not just filling a role — we’re assembling the best team on the planet to build something that’s never been built before. We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

We’re hiring a IT Project Coordinator Intern at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support IT project managers with project planning and execution, encompassing schedule maintenance, task tracking, and monitoring key milestones and deliverables.
  • Maintain clear project documentation and communication by recording meeting minutes, maintaining status trackers, and briefing stakeholders and IT teams on progress.
  • Assist in gathering requirements, coordinating testing and deployment efforts, and proactively highlighting potential risks to delivery timelines.
  • Lead smaller IT initiatives with mentorship from senior leaders, taking accountability for scope definition, task alignment, stakeholder messaging, and final execution.

About You

Our mission to change an industry is not easily achieved. That's why we look for students who are up for the challenge to join our internship program. In turn, our interns have countless opportunities to make a tangible difference in an industry that's long been resistant to change. Flexible work schedule but prefer Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm.

What You're Working with:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to track tasks, maintain documentation, and manage competing priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, ask questions, and provide timely updates.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and project management concepts; familiarity with monday.com, Apple devices and macOS, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn, support ongoing projects, and gradually take ownership of small projects with guidance.

Why We're a Better Place to Work

EquipmentShare interns have the opportunity to enjoy many perks while working at our Home Office, including:

  • Flexible work arrangement.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Company paid holidays.
  • On-site Fitness Center and wellness challenges.
  • Company sponsored events (annual family gatherings, food truck nights and more).
  • Volunteering and local charity initiatives that help you nurture and grow the community.
  • Opportunities for career and professional development.

A Workplace For All

At EquipmentShare, we believe the best solutions come from a team that reflects the world around us. Our initiative — A Workplace For All — is rooted in the belief that we must work together to solve some of the toughest problems in construction. That means attracting, developing, and retaining great people from all walks of life.

We value different backgrounds, talents, and perspectives. We want you to feel like you belong here — because you do.

EquipmentShare is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

Employment is contingent on passing a background check. Additionally, some roles require passing a drug test, depending on the job responsibilities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
