Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and organized Operations Manager to join our team in Waterloo or Mason City, United States. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind our day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and delivering exceptional results. As Operations Manager, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to optimize processes, support our team, and drive organizational success.   • Oversee daily operations and manage assigned team members, providing coaching, feedback, and performance support to ensure excellence
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans and operational documentation to facilitate timely communication and successful project delivery
  • Conduct regular team meetings with staff and leadership to align on goals, address challenges, and celebrate wins
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure organizational sustainability and growth
  • Generate and present weekly and monthly reports on operational metrics, project progress, and key performance indicators
  • Coordinate resource allocation and scheduling to optimize efficiency and support project-related activities
  • Establish and maintain quality standards across all operational processes, assessments, and deliverables
  • Build and nurture relationships with partners, stakeholders, and customers through professional communication and transparent engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership on program development, contract management, human resources initiatives, and business development strategies
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support onboarding and assignment processes for new team members and customers
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, organizational development, or related field from an accredited institution; or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience, with demonstrated success leading and developing teams
  • Proven experience in project management, program operations, or related operational roles
  • Strong proficiency in time management, organizational systems, and process optimization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Experience with budget management, financial forecasting, and resource planning
  • Proficiency with business software, data analysis tools, and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of contract management, vendor relations, and stakeholder engagement
  • Commitment to customer-focused service delivery and inclusive team environments
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a supportive and motivational approach to team management
  • Background in business development or strategic planning (preferred)
