The posting

Our client is a leading multinational Mechanical and Electrical contracting company and they are looking for an experienced Account Manager. Responsibilities: Oversee the reconciliation of all management accounts. Review of all daily accounting processes. Provide Management account reports with schedules and interpret financial information when required. Reviewing Trial Balance on a monthly basis. Prepare of monthly payroll in liaison with HR before submission to management. Produce Staff monthly payslips after payment of salary. Monitor and focus on cash flow and predict future trends. Conduct reviews and evaluations to allow for cost reduction opportunities. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring is carried out. Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant contacts like auditors, bankers, Inland Revenue reps, statutory organizations, external auditors…etc. VAT/WHT/PAYE Returns. Adequately manage budgets. Ensure accurate processing of payments via SAP ERP. Give advice to all relevant departments on financial best practices. Keep an updated record of changes in financial legislation and regulations. Verify all bank charges, in accordance with the agreement with the bank and then pass for posting. Monitor fixed asset acquisition and posting depreciation. Creating new account ledgers and Mapping newly added ledgers to account group. Creating new cost centres as and when the need arises. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage) ICAN or ACA certification (Mandatory) 7–10 years of progressive experience in financial management or accounting. Proficiency in SAP ERP and advanced MS Excel skills Solid understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and corporate finance
