The posting

We deliver the best GIS solutions in the world, with the brightest minds on the map.

What are the issues that matter most to you? Climate change, national security, disaster response?

At Esri Singapore you will work with people at the forefront of these issues, connect them with the best tech and solutions and get an inside look into the real-world challenges that shape our future.

We turn problems into opportunities, and that takes two things:

  • The most powerful GIS technology and solutions.
  • Driven, talented, and passionately curious people.

Here we connect them, and that’s how we achieve incredible things for communities, economies, and for your career.

About the role

As a Junior Consultant / Consultant in Professional Services, you will help clients turn geospatial data, ArcGIS technology, and workflow ideas into practical solutions. You will support delivery engagements across discovery, configuration, data preparation, automation, testing, documentation, and handover. Whether your background is in GIS, geography, computer science, urban planning, engineering, or environmental science, you will build expertise across sectors such as transportation, utilities, public safety, environment, built environment, and government.

Here’s what a typical day will look like:

  • Deliver professional services engagements: Support client workshops, requirements discovery, solution configuration, testing, documentation, training, and handover across ArcGIS implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage with clients and internal teams to clarify business problems, user workflows, requirements, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Design and configure ArcGIS workflows: Configure ArcGIS tools and components in line with Esri best practices to implement geoprocessing, data management, and operational workflows.
  • Prepare and process geospatial data: Import, clean, transform, and organize tabular, spatial, 3D, and geospatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro, Python, SQL, and appropriate ETL tools.
  • Publish and maintain services: Prepare and publish map, feature, scene, and related services, and help maintain service configurations across ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Perform spatial analysis and modelling: Build analysis workflows, models, and tools that apply ArcGIS capabilities and relevant Python libraries to client problems.
  • Automate repeatable work: Use Python scripting, SQL, version control, DevOps tools, and appropriate AI tools to reduce manual effort and improve delivery consistency.
  • Ensure data quality: Apply data validation, QA checks, documentation, and lineage-aware practices to maintain accuracy and consistency across datasets and deliverables.
  • Develop interactive geospatial products: Create clear web maps, scenes, dashboards, Experience Builder apps, and lightweight prototypes that help users understand and act on spatial information.
  • Build product and domain expertise: Continuously build knowledge of the ArcGIS platform and the industries we serve, including government, utilities, transport, public safety, environment, and built environment.
  • Contribute to delivery excellence: Share learnings, support teammates, and help improve reusable workflows, documentation, internal tools, and team playbooks.

Preferred Skills:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
