The posting

  • Abwechslung: Einen vielseitigen Arbeitsalltag in einem internationalen Umfeld – denn hinter keiner guten Show steckt Langeweile.

For everything to run smoothly on stage, everything behind the scenes has to be just right.

Location: Irschenberg

Start Date: as soon as possible

Before the lights come on stage, everything in the warehouse has to be in order, too. Our products need to be complete, securely packaged, and in the right place at the right time. That’s exactly where you come in.

ETC—Electronic Theatre Controls—is a leading global provider of professional theater, TV, and architectural lighting and control systems. Around the world, approximately 1,200 colleagues are part of the ETC family, with about 60 of them working in Germany at our headquarters in Holzkirchen and at our warehouse in Irschenberg. We’re a global company, but our day-to-day work is personal, helpful, and family-like. We’re looking to add a Warehouse Operative (m/f/d) to our warehouse team as soon as possible.

Your Job – Behind-the-Scenes Action

• Everything in the right place: You’ll assist with incoming and outgoing goods, check deliveries, and ensure that goods are properly stored, picked, packed, and safely loaded and unloaded.

• Safe on the way: You’ll prepare shipments and the necessary documentation, coordinate pickups, and work with our shipping partners.

• Keeping track of everything: You’ll log inventory movements using a barcode scanner and the ERP system, assist with inventory checks, and keep an eye on storage locations and materials.

• Order is essential: You help ensure that our warehouse remains clean, safe, and well-organized.

• Together, we make it work: You work closely with your team and other departments. Depending on your skills and interests, you can take on additional organizational or technical tasks.

This is the perfect fit if…

• Experience: You have a high school diploma and at least one year of hands-on experience in warehousing, shipping, or logistics.

• Work Style: You work reliably, carefully, and in a structured manner—both independently and as part of a team.

• Systems: You’re open to digital warehouse processes; experience with barcode scanners or an ERP system is helpful.

• Language: You have a good command of German. Knowledge of English is a plus.

• Hands-on: You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and can handle goods in compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations. A forklift license is an advantage but not a requirement.

Why ETC? Because work can also be enjoyable.

• Special & Family-Like: A secure job at an internationally successful company where everyone knows each other, helps one another, and can laugh together.

• Fair: Compensation commensurate with your experience and skills, supplemented by a bonus system and attractive benefits.

• A Smooth Start: A structured onboarding process and appropriate training so you feel like part of the team from day one.

• Grow with us: Opportunities for development and the space to contribute your strengths, ideas, and interests.

• Variety: A diverse workday in an international environment—because there’s never a dull moment behind the scenes of a good show.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
