FINANCE DEPARTMENT

ACCOUNTANT

REF NO:71001208

EXPENDITURE DIRECTORATE

CORPORATE ACCOUNTS DIVISION

Grade:12

Key Responsibility Areas:

•Overall responsibility including supervision of the accounts payable capital division. •Ensure compliance with ordinances, financial regulations, standing orders and directives. •Undertake general divisional administration and control. •Authorize access to JDE programme for subordinate staff. •Authorize and release payments to suppliers via cheque/EFT payments.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

•Tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Accounting or equivalent with Financial Accounting as a major subject. •Valid motor vehicle driving license. •3 years relevant experience •Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements:

•4 Years relevant experience.
