In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het technisch ondersteunen en realiseren van projecten van ontwerp tot oplevering. Je beoordeelt nieuwe opdrachten en ontwerpen, voert technische berekeningen en detailontwerpen uit met behulp van CAD-software en begeleidt de productieprocessen en klantinspecties (FAT). Daarbij denk je mee over de juiste componentkeuzes op het gebied van bestendigheid, druk en temperatuur, en onderhoud je nauwe contacten met leveranciers en interne afdelingen zoals Engineering, Inkoop, Productie en Service. Je stelt technische documentatie, test- en inspectieplannen en voortgangsrapportages op, en bewaakt de voortgang en kwaliteit van projecten. Daarnaast organiseer je reviewmeetings, beoordeel je opdrachtacceptaties en controleer je het uitgevoerde werk binnen de verschillende afdelingen. Je bent alert op kosten en budgetten, stelt rapportages op en signaleert meerwerk waar nodig. Verder draag je bij aan continue verbetering van processen en producten, verzorg je trainingen voor collega-engineers en zorg je ervoor dat werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd conform geldende kwaliteits-, veiligheids- en milieunormen (QHSE). Ook beoordeel je de toepasbaarheid en documentatie van ATEX- en IECEx-onderdelen en neem je actief deel aan interne en externe projectmeetings om een optimaal projectresultaat te waarborgen.
