Over ons - - Werken bij Van Oord - Arbeidsvoorwaarden - - Over Van Oord 2de Machinist Offshore Word onze - Rotterdam - Marine crew - Rotation 2de Machinist Offshore - Rotterdam - Rotation - Marine crew DE POSITIE Als 2nd Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de staat en het onderhoud van de technische installaties aan boord van onze offshore installatieschepen. Je werkt op schepen zoals de Nexus, Calypso en Aeolus. Je werkt in een 12 uursrooster en rapporteert aan de Chief Engineer. Samen onderhouden en optimaliseren jullie de technische systemen aan boord. Je helpt het schip veilig, betrouwbaar en klaar voor de volgende offshore operatie te houden. Jouw werk begint met sterke technische prestaties en jouw impact reikt veel verder dan de machinekamer. JOUW IMPACT Als 2nd Engineer bereid je specifieke onderhoudsprojecten voor, plan je ze en voer je ze uit. Je werkt nauw samen met de Chief Engineer om de machinekamer en technische systemen in goede staat te houden. Ook begeleid en ondersteun je bemanningsleden die aan jou zijn toegewezen. Met jouw kennis help je het team technische uitdagingen met vertrouwen op te lossen. Je draagt bij aan een prettige werksfeer en aan de ontwikkeling van de bemanning. Zo draagt jouw werk direct bij aan de veilige en betrouwbare uitvoering van offshore projecten over de hele wereld. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden zijn onder andere: - Het onderhouden, optimaliseren en verbeteren van de machinekamer en technische systemen in nauwe samenwerking met de Chief Engineer - Het uitvoeren van regulier onderhoud en reparaties aan technische installaties voor optimale prestaties - Het instrueren, organiseren, begeleiden en motiveren van toegewezen bemanningsleden - Het bijhouden van de scheepsadministratie volgens de Van Oord standaarden - Het voorbereiden, plannen en uitvoeren van specifieke onderhoudsprojecten als Day Engineer OVER JOU Je hebt een achtergrond in de maritieme secto...
