Een vlotte en betrouwbare bevoorrading is essentieel voor de dagelijkse werking. Je werkt samen met interne stakeholders en leveranciers en draagt bij aan een efficiënte aankoopwerking, met aandacht voor kwaliteit, continuïteit en kosten.

Als Purchasing Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor de aankoopactiviteiten op de productiesite. Je onderhoudt leverancierscontacten, volgt bestellingen en leveringen op en denkt actief mee over optimalisaties binnen het aankoopproces.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Aankoper ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren van de leveranciersportefeuille binnen jouw toegewezen productcategorieën en ben je het vaste aanspreekpunt voor leveranciers
  • Vanuit jouw rol bouw je sterke leveranciersrelaties uit en voer je onderhandelingen over contractvoorwaarden en prijsafspraken
  • Je vertaalt de aankoopstrategie naar concrete acties en zorgt voor een succesvolle implementatie bij leveranciers
  • Daarnaast volg je leveranciersprestaties op en werk je continu aan optimalisaties op vlak van kwaliteit, duurzaamheid en kosten
  • Tot slot blijf je op de hoogte van markttrends, nieuwe materialen en leveranciers en draag je actief bij aan nieuwe productontwikkelingen
  • Idealiter een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische, commerciële of Supply Chain-gerelateerde richting
  • Je beschikt over een eerste relevante werkervaring binnen strategische aankoop en internationale onderhandelingen
  • Technisch inzicht en kennis van materialen zoals metaal en kunststoffen
  • Vlotte communicatie in Engels en Nederlands is essentieel om relaties op te bouwen en stevig te onderhandelen
