The posting

BPYP Consultancy begeleidt wervings- en selectieopdrachten. Voor onze klant, een Belgisch bedrijf gespecialiseerd in verpakkingsoplossingen en verbruiksgoederen met zetel in Vlaams-Brabant, zoeken we een Account Manager B2B voor het segment industrie, retail en e-commerce in Vlaanderen.

Over de opdracht

Het bedrijf is stevig ingeplant bij industriële, retail- en e-commerceklanten. Na een herschikking van de klantsegmenten zoekt het een Account Manager voor het segment non-food: industrie, retail en e-commerce in Vlaanderen.

Je vertrekt niet van nul. Je neemt een bestaande portefeuille van een honderdtal klanten over en bouwt die verder uit, samen met een collega die hetzelfde segment in een ander deel van Vlaanderen opvolgt. Je verkoopt verbruiksgoederen: van folie om paletten te wikkelen in magazijnen en distributiecentra tot verpakkingen voor pakjes en e-commerce. Je klanten zijn industriële bedrijven, retailers en hun logistieke centra, en bedrijven die (ook) online verkopen.

Wat je doet

  • Een bestaande portefeuille beheren en verder laten groeien.
  • Nieuwe klanten binnenhalen via telefonische afspraken en prospectie op het terrein.
  • Je gesprekspartners zijn aankopers, logistiek verantwoordelijken en bij kleinere bedrijven de zaakvoerder.
  • Klanten adviseren op prijs, kwaliteit en beschikbaarheid, en offertes opmaken en opvolgen.
  • Een verkoopcyclus loopt meestal over twee à drie afspraken, waarna bestellingen terugkeren volgens het verbruik van de klant.
  • Samenwerken in een kleine, hechte ploeg. Een customer service-team neemt de kleinste klanten over, zodat jij je op de grotere accounts kan richten.

Praktisch

De zetel ligt in Vlaams-Brabant en de functie bestrijkt Vlaanderen. De precieze regio verdeel je in overleg met je collega.

  • Ervaring in B2B-verkoop of accountmanagement, idealiter in verbruiksgoederen of producten via distributie.
  • Je combineert klantenbeheer met prospectie: je laat een portefeuille groeien en zoekt tegelijk actief nieuwe klanten.
  • Commercieel temperament, zelfstandig en graag op de baan.
  • Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands. Frans is een troef, geen vereiste.
