Ben jij een ervaren Accountant die verder kijkt dan het correct verwerken van cijfers? Voor een internationale organisatie in regio Antwerpen zoeken we een Accountant die een belangrijke rol speelt binnen het Finance team. Je combineert hands-on accounting met btw, afsluitingen en procesverbetering en krijgt de ruimte om mee te bouwen aan verdere digitalisering en automatisering van Finance.

Als Accountant maak je deel uit van het Finance team en zorg je mee voor een correcte en efficiënte financiële administratie. Tegelijkertijd krijg je een actieve rol in het verbeteren en digitaliseren van financiële processen. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Verwerken en controleren van aankoopfacturen, kosten en bankverrichtingen;
  • Voorbereiden, opvolgen en uitvoeren van leveranciersbetalingen;
  • Controleren en behandelen van eventuele aanmaningen van leveranciers;
  • Verzorgen en opvolgen van btw-aangiftes, intracommunautaire aangiftes, klantenlistings en de recuperatie van buitenlandse btw;
  • Meewerken aan periodieke afsluitingen en balansafwerking;
  • Uitvoeren van financiële controles en corrigeren van afwijkingen waar nodig;
  • Ondersteunen van collega's bij boekhoudkundige en btw-gerelateerde vraagstukken;
  • Meewerken aan de opmaak van jaarrekeningen;
  • Signaleren van mogelijkheden om financiële processen verder te digitaliseren en automatiseren;
  • Optimaliseren van bestaande financiële systemen en werkprocessen;
  • Meewerken aan de implementatie van nieuwe financiële tools en systemen;
  • Begeleiden van collega's bij het gebruik van nieuwe processen en digitale toepassingen.

Je bent daarmee niet alleen bezig met wat vandaag correct verwerkt moet worden, maar denkt ook actief mee over hoe Finance morgen slimmer en efficiënter kan werken.

We zoeken een Accountant die voldoende ervaring heeft om zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en tegelijkertijd graag samenwerkt met collega's.

Je beschikt bij voorkeur over:

  • Een bachelor Accountancy-Fiscaliteit of een gelijkwaardig niveau door ervaring;
  • Enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen accounting;
  • Een goede kennis van btw en interesse om je hierin verder te verdiepen;
  • Ervaring met balanswerk en bij voorkeur met de voorbereiding of opmaak van jaarrekeningen;
  • Een zeer goede kennis van Excel;
  • Ervaring met ERP- of financiële software;
  • Interesse in digitalisering, automatisering en het verbeteren van financiële processen;
  • Een zeer goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels;
  • Een nauwkeurige, analytische en administratief sterke manier van werken.

Ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision, Power BI, Isabel of software voor jaarrekeningen is mooi meegenomen, maar geen absolute vereiste.

Daarnaast voel je je thuis in een organisatie die in beweging is. Je denkt in oplossingen, neemt initiatief en vindt het interessant om bestaande werkwijzen kritisch te bekijken en waar mogelijk te verbeteren.
