In een internationale en snelgroeiende insurtech‑omgeving krijg je een belangrijke rol binnen het finance‑ en accountingteam. De organisatie werkt met digitale, grensoverschrijdende verzekeringsoplossingen en ondersteunt diverse Europese klanten, waardoor een nauwkeurige financiële opvolging en een efficiënte administratie essentieel zijn.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Uitvoeren van dagelijkse boekhoudkundige activiteiten.
  • Inboeken van inkomsten voor transactionele klanten.
  • Boeken van bankafschriften gelinkt aan risicodragers.
  • Controleren en reconciliëren van betalingstransacties.
  • Inboeken van inkomsten en klantfacturen in het AR‑systeem.
  • Ondersteunen bij de opmaak, data‑input en controles van verzekeringsbordereaus voor risicodragers.
  • Voorbereiden van de maandelijkse boekhouding en zorgen voor een tijdige afsluiting.
  • Verzekeren dat alle journaalposten correct gedocumenteerd, geautoriseerd en financieel accuraat zijn.
  • Correct opzetten en opvolgen van AP, AR, accruals, provisies en grootboekrekeningen volgens groepsrichtlijnen.
  • Beheren van cashtransacties en bankverrichtingen.
  • Bijdragen aan de analyse en interpretatie van boekhoudkundige documenten ter ondersteuning van beslissingen op senior niveau.
  • Ondersteunen van forecasting, cashmanagement en budgettering.
  • Opstellen en verbeteren van interne procedures en processen.
  • Implementeren en gebruiken van nieuwe accountingtools.
  • Een bachelor in accounting of een gelijkwaardige opleiding.
  • Twee tot zes jaar relevante ervaring in accounting.
  • Ervaring binnen insurance accounting is een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van BE GAAP, IFRS, Belgische boekhoudnormen en verzekeringsspecifieke accountingprincipes.
  • Comfortabel met het implementeren en gebruiken van nieuwe software.
  • Detailgericht met oog voor de bredere bedrijfsdoelstellingen.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden.
  • Vlot in het Frans of Nederlands en communicatief vaardig in het Engels.
  • Teamgericht, verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar.
  • Dynamisch en flexibel in een snel evoluerende omgeving.
  • Uitstekende kennis van Excel.
