Manuchar is op zoek naar een gedreven Accounting Manager die vanuit het hoofdkantoor in Antwerpen (Merksem) de boekhoudkundige activiteiten aanstuurt en actief bijdraagt aan de verdere professionalisering van onze Finance-organisatie.

Manuchar is een Belgische multinational en een toonaangevende distributeur van chemicaliën in snelgroeiende markten. Daarnaast zijn ze actief in de internationale handel van onder andere staal, polymeren en diverse andere grondstoffen. Met meer dan 40 jaar ervaring en een aanwezigheid op meer dan 180 locaties verspreid over Noord- en Latijns-Amerika, Afrika, Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Azië, bieden ze geïntegreerde commerciële, logistieke en financiële oplossingen aan klanten wereldwijd.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Accounting Manager :

Als Accounting Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor een correcte en tijdige financiële rapportering van onze Belgische entiteiten. Je geeft leiding aan het accountingteam en stimuleert een cultuur van samenwerking, kwaliteit en continue verbetering.

  • Team leiden van 12 personen (waarvan 6 direct reports).
  • Coördineren van de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de wettelijke rapporteringen, btw-aangiftes en fiscale verplichtingen.
  • Coördineren en begeleiden van externe audits.
  • Aansturen, coachen en verder ontwikkelen van het accountingteam.
  • Standaardiseren en optimaliseren van boekhoudkundige processen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan automatiseringsprojecten en initiatieven rond continue verbetering binnen Finance.
  • Nauw samenwerken met verschillende stakeholders binnen de internationale groep.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je behaalde een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Finance, Accountancy of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Je beschikt over minstens 10 jaar relevante ervaring binnen accounting.
  • Je hebt succesvol leidinggegeven aan een team en weet medewerkers te coachen en te ontwikkelen.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van Belgian GAAP, IFRS, btw-regelgeving en vennootschapsbelasting.
  • Je hebt ervaring met procesoptimalisatie en het begeleiden van veranderingsprojecten.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Microsoft Dynamics 365 of bent bereid je hierin snel verder te verdiepen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
