Voor een internationale organisatie met een sterke aanwezigheid in Europa zijn we op zoek naar een Accounting & Tax Compliance Officer om het team in Lokeren te versterken.

In deze functie krijg je een brede verantwoordelijkheid binnen accounting en tax compliance voor verschillende entiteiten in de Benelux en daarbuiten. Een mooie opportuniteit voor een ervaren finance professional die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en verder wil kijken dan de klassieke boekhouding!

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Accounting & Tax Compliance Officer ben je een belangrijke schakel tussen de lokale organisatie, internationale finance teams en externe partners.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Het coördineren en opvolgen van de maand- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Het voorbereiden en controleren van periodieke boekhoudkundige verrichtingen, waaronder provisies en aansluitingen.
  • Het analyseren en opvolgen van balansrekeningen en payroll-gerelateerde rekeningen.
  • Het bewaken van de fiscale compliance en het tijdig voorbereiden, indienen en opvolgen van diverse aangiftes en betalingen.
  • Het fungeren als aanspreekpunt tijdens interne en externe audits en bij contacten met externe adviseurs en lokale instanties.
  • Het ondersteunen van interne controle- en complianceprocessen.
  • Een nauwe samenwerking met een internationaal Shared Services Centre en andere finance stakeholders.
  • Het identificeren van mogelijkheden om processen efficiënter, accurater en meer geautomatiseerd te maken.

Jouw profiel

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Accountancy, Finance, Economie of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante professionele ervaring binnen accounting en/of tax.
  • Ervaring met een ERP- of reportingomgeving is een pluspunt.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van andere Europese talen is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent flexibel en kan je vlot aanpassen aan een internationale en veranderende werkomgeving.
  • Je bent zelfstandig, stressbestendig en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk.
  • Je werkt analytisch en nauwkeurig en voelt je comfortabel met deadlines en complexe financiële materie.
  • Je neemt graag initiatief en denkt actief mee over procesverbetering en automatisatie.
